We’ll be making Bristle Bots!! Fun small robots with the kids and we’ll be having a book drive and see which Den can build the largest book tower from the books they’ve brought in!
Clean out your shelves for a fun time and a good cause!!!!

This is our Fall overnight campout at Camp McKee!! 2 nights with other Cub Scout Packs from around the area. Lots of fun Harry Potter themed activities including archery, BB’s, crafts, campfires and field games!!

Hiking to the Berea Pinnacles offers a rewarding outdoor experience with scenic views and moderate trails suitable for various skill levels. Time will be updated once determined!

Join us for an online in-depth training how we raise funds for the Pack through Popcorn Fundraising!
We’ll give you the tips and tricks and walk everyone through how the app works by sharing it live on the screen while answering any questions you may have!

Creek Hike
Join us for a SUPER FUN Creek Hike!
The Creek is over 30 ft wide (Marble Creek) with up to 30 ft walls.
Bring your water shoes to splash around :) This was a blast last year and it’s an absolutely beautiful easy hike for the family.

Get Ready to Set Sail! Raingutter Regatta is on full force tonight with the races! Bring your boat and be ready to make a splash to see whose sails are the fastest! While the scouts are racing, the parents will be learning all about Pack 73 and the fun events we have planned for the year!

Back to Scouting Movie Night!
Movie night at the Hurst home is a fantastic way to kick off the Cub Scout year, bringing scouts and families together for an evening full of fun, laughter and popcorn! With a fun movie, popcorn, and plenty of snacks, everyone will have a chance to relax and get to know each other better. The cozy atmosphere will spark excitement for the upcoming activities and adventures planned for the year, reminding scouts of the friendships and teamwork that make Pack 73 special!! Bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy the fun!
We will also be doing a Scouting Clothing Drive where we encourage you to bring gently used Scouting gear to swap and share with other Scouts!

Camp Nelson Flags-In & Fly-In BBQ
Pack 73 will be placing flags with the Central Kentucky Veterans Committee at Camp Nelson to honor America’s fallen on Memorial Day.

BIG TRIP - US Space & Rocket Center!!!!
Join us for our BIG TRIP to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama!!!
We’ll get a 6 hour trip to the Rocket Center along with and IMAX experience and a tour guide!!!
AND We’ll be going on a guided tour of Cathedral Caverns!!
Looking forward to having a BLAST with you there!!

Pinewood Derby Workshop at The Farm!
Happy New Year Pack 73!!!
At this event the Scouts and Their Parents will work to cut and shape their Pinewood Derby Cars and Design Cars in 3D that will be Printed for them to receive at the Pinewood Derby.
-Jan 25th at The Farm
-9 AM - 11 AM Lions and Tigers
-12 PM - 2 PM Wolves and Bears
-3 PM - 5 PM Webelos and AOLs
Please bring your Pinewood Derby Cars you received at the Holiday Pack Meeting at LexLive. If you did not receive one, we will have your car there. Please bring extra tools if you have them / are willing to share. Because we will be working with tools, Parents must be present.
This should be a super fun event for all of the kids Looking forward to seeing there!!!!
This event will also serve as our Pack Meeting for January!!

Celebrate the holiday season with Cub Scout Pack 73 at the LexLive movie theater! This year’s holiday party is sure to be the perfect combination of holiday cheer, scout spirit, and family fun!

Greenfields Farm Pre-Thanksgiving Camporee!!
By Popular Demand – A Celestial Celebration Under the Stars!
Pack 73, get ready for an out-of-this-world experience! Join us on Saturday, November 23rd, for an unforgettable camping adventure at Greenfields Farm (5660 Old Richmond Rd). This is a family-friendly event open to all scouts, parents, and siblings.

Salato Wildlife Education Center
Join us for a full day of adventure at the Salato Wildlife Education Center! Activities include fishing, animal exhibits, and a scenic hike. A delicious grilled cheese lunch will be provided for all attendees.

VA Hospital Drop Off

Let’s drop off our goody bags to the Vets at the VA Hospital and show our appreciation!

Pack Meeting
During our November pack meeting, we will learn what it means to be helpful and loyal. Scouts will work together to create care packages for veterans at the Veterans Medical Center as a demonstration of our appreciation and support for those who have dedicated themselves to protecting our country.
