🇺🇸 Serving Those Who Served Our Scouts will be distributing the toiletry bags they assembled earlier this year to veterans during the upcoming hospital event. This is a meaningful opportunity to show gratitude and respect to those who have given so much for our country.

  • Wear your Class A uniform to represent the Pack with pride.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend—protecting the health of our veterans and fellow Scouts is essential.

Join us for an overnight adventure at General Butler State Park Resort (Link to their website)! We’ll stay in the on-site lodges and enjoy a full schedule of activities, including:

Meals are included: lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday.

Skating to the Holiday Party!

Join us at the Lexington Ice Center to celebrate the holidays and enjoy the last pack meeting of the year! This event is for the whole family!  Best of all, the event is FREE to all!  We’ll have:

  • Ice skating

  • Cookie decorating

  • Card making (for local nursing home)

  • Hot cocoa

  • DIY Scout 2026 ornament making!!!

Festive clothing or ice-skating attire is encouraged (Class A/B uniforms are not required).

Pinnacles Hike

Pinnacles Hike

Pack 73 is heading to Berea, KY to hike the Pinnacles in the Berea College Forest! Hiking to the Berea Pinnacles offers a rewarding outdoor experience with scenic views & trails suitable for various skill levels.

  • Please RSVP to your den leader so that we can get a tentative headcount (include # of all attending).

  • Please dress appropriately for the weather and hiking.

  • Please bring your six scout essentials

  • Hike will start promptly at 1 pm. Please arrive at noon (eat prior)

The hike will be divided by skill level and age (e.g., Bears will take an intermediate hike up to the East Pinnacle). If you have not been on one of our outdoor adventures, this weekend will likely be the last one before the weather turns rough for the winter. As a reminder, all scouts must complete at least one outdoor adventure to earn their rank badge.

  • 9am-Noon: Kinder (Lions) — 2nd (Wolves)

  • Noon-3pm: 3rd (Bears) — 5th (AoLs)

Pack 73 is tackling the Boone Creek Outdoor Adventure Park, testing skills and teamwork on the ropes course. They’ll be able to enjoy field games and hike scenic trails, combining fun and nature for an unforgettable day!

This is our Fall overnight campout at Camp McKee!! 2 nights with other Cub Scout Packs from around the area. Lots of fun Harry Potter themed activities including archery, BB’s, crafts, campfires and field games!! Registration is live!!

Registration Fees (with meals included):

Cub Scouts: $75

Cub Scout Sibling (same family): $45

Non-Scout Sibling: $35

Leaders/Parents/Guardians: $35

Price includes: activities, camping, meals (if selected), t-shirt for Cub Scouts, and a magical weekend experience.

Back to Scouting Movie Night!

Movie night at the Hurst home is a fantastic way to kick off the Cub Scout year, bringing scouts and families together for an evening full of fun, laughter and popcorn! With a fun movie, popcorn, and plenty of snacks, everyone will have a chance to relax and get to know each other better. The cozy atmosphere will spark excitement for the upcoming activities and adventures planned for the year, reminding scouts of the friendships and teamwork that make Pack 73 special!! Bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy the fun!

We will also be doing a Scouting Clothing Drive where we encourage you to bring gently used Scouting gear to swap and share with other Scouts!
